We rely on the IMLWatcher® quality assurance system from Intravis, a comprehensive control system for optical quality inspection of IML processes. Since 2016, we have been working exclusively with Intravis to offer our customers a high-precision and reliable vision inspection solution for the entire in-mold labeling process.

Automated error detection for maximum efficiency

The IMLWatcher® is a software-based camera system that has been specifically developed for the detection of IML-specific errors. This vision control system is turnkey and can be integrated immediately into existing production processes as an IML inspection system.

Thanks to the integrated quick reference mode, automatic reference creation is carried out within a few seconds during ongoing measurement operations. This results in considerable time savings when setting up new products. The software’s intuitively designed user interface makes it easy to operate and enables detailed production and error analysis thanks to new, enhanced statistics functions. This allows for comprehensive production and error analysis.

  • Presence and identity of the label
  • Label fit and position (vertical, horizontal)
  • Detection of printing errors on the label
  • Overlaps and gaps at the label joint
  • Check for flash and flash marks
  • Color check of the label at the injection point

  • Check for under- and over-moulding at the cup rim (optional)
